Wow, great houses!

this is the house of a family I've been playing, there's not so many nice furniture options but I think it's turning out OK...

My sister currently don't have a pc that is cable of running sims 3, really it can't really run anything reliable so she plays on my pc... I thought I would show some of her houses, so the credit goes to Kiara:

a teen room

and the most spectacular work out room - who has such a view from their work out room?

I love coming here to get ideas on decorating my sims houses. Sixtyten, I am one major fangurl of your Sims 2 uploads, and went wild on your Sims 3 lot. I tried playing a clean a clean Sunset Valley, placed your lot and ended with the Landgrabbs buying the lot. Dang it!

This is the interiors of a modern lot I have been tinkering around with. Still having a problem with managing the camera.

lewisb40,
You have done a fantastic job decorating. Your living room looks warm and cozy and I really love the last two photographs. That stone wall in the bedroom is phenomenal and photograph #3 doesn't' show that you have a problem managing the camera at all!  OK

Thanks alot AjOya. The camera moves around too much, plus it's hard (for me) to center my pics. I just have to get use to it.  Grin

Your welcome,  Wink
I must agree, the camera does move around a ton, I have to get use to it myself. But you know something?...The most interesting pictures are the ones that aren't centered sometimes. Smiley Just look at pic 3, the focal point could be the vase, but the angles coming from the sides of that picture are just fantastic. Matter of fact, that's magazine material in my eyes.

Lewis, i love the picture with the stairs on the side, it looks fantastic! Amazing degree with the angles as well, it just shows a talented photographer can really make it realistic getting the right angles and everything, good job! Wink

I got a sims living in a small house I build then sims 3 just came out, but I only moved my sims in there yesterday. She has lived there a week or so now. She makes her living writing novels, but isn't very good yet. So fare it has been mostly cheap paperbacks coming from her hand - the kind of books you gets with a magazine as a "free" gift. She loves Mexican interior design so her house is full of bright colours. I think the living room turned out pretty nicely though it still needs a lot be get the wow factor. But then you are making your living selling incects, rocks and trash novels, the income is slow coming. And I spend all her starter money on the garden

Oh good job everyone!!  You guys are great.  I'm getting all sorts of ideas for decorating here.  I've more or less stopped playing Sims 2 now but I still love the ideas and try to bring them into my Sims 3 game.

Lewisb, I know that problem with the camera.  I have a huge problem when doing portraits because it moves so much I have problems centering.  Also sometimes I can't get close enough.  That camera is really frustrating sometimes.
