What room do you find most difficult to decorate?

--------------------------

I think that dinning rooms are hard, what should I put in there more then the chairs, the table and the side table?

i agree, the dining room, especially if it's open to the kitchen. Also the bathroom. All of my sims live on lots 2x2 or 3x2 (except my soap opera set) so space and clutter is at a premium. I'm going thru now and updating homes with clutter and shelves and such, but bathrooms still remain bare.

towels help a lot in bathrooms, so does hanging plants and perhaps a little "rug" on the floor to step out on after a bath, so your sims don't get cold feet. You can also put sea clamps or bowls with coloured glass on the bath room if you have BV. I like small bathrooms they seem more real to me. It is also possible to hang a framed poster on the bath rooms

The whole house is hard for me sometimes. I find myself putting up walls and then taking them back down, putting one object in taking two out. It makes everything take so long. But if I had to choose it would be the bathroom, I always seem to only leave a tiny/awkward space for it which makes things a lot more difficult than they really have to be.

the Bathromm... and maybe the diningroom. Zhat's why I do not separate it from the kitchen or from the living area.

For me it's the kitchen.  I find it hard to put together a nice kitchen that looks real and gorgeous.  Sometimes, I don't want to use a whole set.  I  want to use a mixture of counters/wall cabinets, like others have shown in their pictures, but I'm at a loss as to what to mix together.  LOL!

So, I end up using a whole set.

Kitchens always looks more interesting if you use things from more then one set in a room. Try to use things from set that looks similar. Perhaps one set of counters and the upper cabinets from another set. Use more-slots to put clutter on the works tops, but remember to leave some workspace free otherwise it just look to cluttered. Perhaps add a kids drawing if the family have kids or pictures with food or flowers if you are going for the country feel. Open shelves looks good as well and let you fill your kitchen with personal details

Living rooms for me. I just don't have enough content for that section. Bedrooms also.

For me, it's , when my sims can afford a house big enough, the hall. I never know what to put. All my sims hall are the same. It's pretty boring! And I always use the same colors for each house I do. This is why I love the challenges and the magazine Livingetc because it gave me a lot of ideas. I never get enough of new ideas! Smiley

Ohhh Kounga! I love decorating Halls! My halls are the most exciting parts of my houses! With mirrors, with little stuffs ... I love them! But I still think, that the bath is one of the hardest things to do. Especially the small bathrooms..

I can't say it's difficult for me, but rather boring: bathrooms.

I'd have to say the dining room is most difficult.  It's not less fun, but I have to have equal amounts of space on each side of the table...or about the same.  With some rooms it's impossible to have a functional, perfectly spaced table.

My Dinings almost always look like a mini-livingroom. With Mirrors, with lounge, with plants...
