Dining rooms are probably most difficult for me as well.  It's a real challenge finding ways to make the room interesting and different from every other dining room if there's limited space.  Nurseries can be challenging, too, since I don't have a lot of furnishings for baby; but I'm working on that as I revamp my Downloads folder ;)

Hmm...

For me, it varies from house to house. I get a great idea for a room for one house and can decorate like mad, but switch to another house and the same room will give me headache upon headache.

I don't like nurseries (my families almost never start with kids) and gardens, but that's not really a room.

I seem to be alone in finding bathrooms relatively easy, I love putting in loads of cluttery bits and pieces, as well as the odd toy or books that have made their way in there. Dining rooms are pretty hard though, I tend to just merge them with the kitchen or make them double as a play-room or library, as my own does.

I find bathrooms difficult. I try to build small rooms for my bathrooms so that I don't have as much space to fill.

Bathrooms are hard, I never have the right amount of space for the things I want in it. That means when I finally know which toilet etc. to put in there..

I find halls the most difficult because Maxis hasn't really provided much for us to use in those rooms.
I think that bathrooms and dining rooms are easy. Probably because I've had time to actually sit down and create for those rooms.
