Hello there - I'm Lily. I'm a nearly 37 year old Simmer with Obsessive Compulsive tendencies (aren't we all  Wink ). I'm happily married with a 17 year old son, a dog, 2 cats and 7 tropical fish (none have died recently). When I'm not simming I can be found in my garden, knee deep in dirt - talking to my plants. I'm very easily distracted, so always have several projects on the go - in real life and in the sims.
I registered with this forum a while back now, but have never spoken before because although I love to see what's going on everywhere - I find that I often end up chatting for hours, when I could be doing other things... like playing  Grin. Obviously I just can't help myself, or I'd still be being quiet!
I suppose I should answer the 'intro questions' now, before I tell you my life story Tongue

- What part of the world are you from?
I'm from Cornwall, in England. Originally I come from Kent, near London, but moved to this beautiful county when I was 10 years old.

- What is your favourite colour?
Pink, no idea why. I'm not a girly girl.

- What do you enjoy most about the sims?
Everything. I love to play the game as much as I love to build and create custom content.

- How long have you played sims?
Since the 'Hot Date' Expansion pack was released for Sims1... there was no turning back after that.

- What is your favourite Section of Magazine?
All of it. But if I had to pick something it would be... everything Wink

- Are you a creator for the sims? We would love to see your stuff if you are
Yes, I am. I build, recolour and create using homecrafter. I absolutely refuse to learn how to mesh - there are enough fine object creators out there... and I hate, hate, hate bodyshop. Tried it once or twice and fell asleep at my pc. I'd rather pull out my nostril hairs one by one than create in bodyshop.
If you'd like to see anything I have created/built - you can find it all at http://www.simcasticdesigns.com/

- What is your favourite site to download build/buy mode stuff from?

I don't have any one favourite, but I do like Holysimoly, MTS2, Awesims, ATS2, Mango, Sims Crossing, TSR... yadayadayada... I could go on forever.

- How did you find the forum?
Followed the yellow brick road :D

I decided to say hello on a whim, so haven't got anything 'prepared' for showing off, so whatever I can find in my photobucket account will have to do.

These are from a makeover challenge I entered over at the Chatterbox Forum. It's affiliated with Simcastic Designs.

These are the 'detailed pictures' from one of my vacation lots on Simcastic Designs - Twikki Tikki Hot Hot Springs.

A cabin I built for another challenge at the Chatterbox

Some recoloured paintings I've done.

... and my favourite picture from one of my lots.

I had more in that account than I remembered - I should probably do some spring cleaning!

Well, that's me - in a nutshell.

Welcome to the forum - or rather - welcome out of lurking mode. I hope we will see you posting around the forum. You got some really nice pictures - I hope you can be talked into sharing some more with us in the picture section. It looks like your good at gardening in sims as well as in real life. Anyway welcome *wonders off to check out your site*

Thankyou Grin  I'm looking forward to trawling around the boards and meeting everyone properly.
I've not lurked so much as 'popped in and out' occasionally... in a totally non lurking way

Welcome Lilymayrose - may I call  you Lily?  I love your icon Grin. And I'm liking what I see of your pictures; they're beautifully detailed.  So, no more popping in and out eh?  Make yourself at home and I hope to see more of your work.

btw The St. George church is awesome!

Wow, what great pics! I love the outdoor shot of the cabin, and the detail on the beach resort is lovely. I particularly like the wild west look of those market produce signs.
