Hello LivingSims and staff members!

I go by xtinabobina, but it's not much of an alias so you can call me Christina if it makes it easier for you. I've been an avid, AVID simmer since it first began. When Sims 1 was released, I began to write immediately. My sister and I created an elaborate story that existed via Barbies, Sims 1 & 2, and in binders of paper. Today, ten years later, I'm still playing, writing, and spending hours stacked upon my roller chair in front of my desktop decorating houses, community lots, and my hoods too. I run a blog, have now for about..six months I'd say, where I post my 'creations'. I also get the writer's itch and contribute daily/weekly blurbs about random things, Sims related or not. Before that, I ran a small profile at TSR where I wrote mostly stories--four of which were published on the front page almost consecutively, which I think to be a small, but flattering accomplishment!-- and posted a few recolors and builds there.

I love the LivingSims forum because I myself love (and have become very good at) finding things in the community. I also love the pictures featured in the issues because they give an inside to the decorating minds of my favorite artists! Plus, I love the interviews ^.^

Outside of Sims,

I'm a typical starving college student who is a 3D animation and Game design major with little interest in anything other than Photoshop, Sims, Second Life, healthy living, my boyfriend, and my animals (cat and dog). I also love to make people laugh. Of course, I love to write, read, draw, and play with images in Photoshop. Oh, and I can't forget my passion for horses. I love them and you'll find them included in my lots often enough because I love to build elaborate stables.

And now onto the questions before you're attention span snaps.

- What part of the world are you from?
The US of A. Texas, to be precise, but not originally.

- What is your favourite colour?
      Purple & Black.

- What do you enjoy most about the sims?
      Decorating mostly and taking pictures.

- How long have you played sims?
      Ten years and still going.

- What is your favourite Section of Magazine?
The interviews and Finds. Oh, and the tutorials because I have written one or two and know how tedious it can be. Kudos to the tuts writers!

- Are you a creator for the sims?
I do recolours and builds (and make simmies on occasion). I try to make things that I don't see much of when it comes to buildings, like sushi restaurants or movie theaters.

- What is your favourite site to download build/buy mode stuff from?
Garden of Shadows, Black Pearl Sims, and SimsCave. Some people tend to neglect forums because of their wordy appearance, but these truly are the best places to find things! I also have everything ever made by Holy Simoly and AdeleVK.

- How did you find the forum?
I've been lurking around for some time now, just now getting engaged though. The first time I came (a ways back), I thought the magazines were for my Sims to read XD lol because they were download-able for the game!

A few favorites out of my latest batch:

Nice to meet you guys!

PS, not sure why it made me make a poll? I just wanted to start a new thread but there's no option for it for me. Sorry if that's inconvenient Sad

We are moving - Join us at the new forum

We are closing this forum, but only to start a new beginning somewhere else!

We have had many good times at this forum so we are sad to let it go. But we are also excited about getting a fresh start at a new site.

Join us at the new site where you will find both our forum and (shortly) the rest of the magazine!

The new possibilities:
- A new domain, making it easier to find the magazine
- More web server space
- A fresh start with the forum that is cleaned up and more logical
- No advertising on the forum!
- The possibility of a shout box
- and a number of small features that you will probably not notice, but are important for the way the forum is run

Do you aspire to be a great sims interior designer but feel intimidated by the high standard of work/photos/applications you see. Well, we have created a challenge especially for you. We want to help you feel confident enough to show off your work! So we have created a Beginner's Challenge, where you will find all the help and advice you will need to express your passion for design!

PS: We ask you not to post on the old forum, but to take all activity with you to the new forum, though the old forum will stay online as an archive
