I just found out today that exotic elements made some patterns for sims 3. They look like they are great patterns for all sorts of textiles, along with some bamboo and pottery textures.

My self sim, who kinda sorta looks like me. I think it'll look closer once theres a curlier hair.

I thought it was cute, I went to the science center to take gardening classes and then after I was done I grabbed "Murder in Pleasantview" out of my inventory and began reading on the fountain.

9  Magazine Talk & General Chatter / Sims 3 chat / Re: What would you like to see in expansion packs on: June 05, 2009, 01:40:30 pm
Yea, a greater variety of furniture items is definitely needed.

I also feel like the game is really missing a saturation slider in the create a style section. It's so difficult to make subtle, subdued tones. Also the ability to make the shadows lighter on objects. I understand they have to make shadows so dark so that you can see the details on darker tones, but it really looks ridiculous with lighter colors.

I love how easy it is to move throughout the community but I really wish there were more places we could actually go.

kitchen storage unit is by karaskaras at gos: http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=8329.0
with recolor at piggis sims: http://www.piggis-sims.net/

towels are from same set as curtain (linked to by hell_e)
15  First aid / WCIF - general / Re: WCIF- recolors of this bathtub with curtain on: April 16, 2009, 05:41:49 pm
jadedicara has a couple of patterned curtain recolors at her mts2 profile: http://www.modthesims2.com/browse.php?f=385&page=3&u=79097&showType=2&showAll=1&gameOrig=1&gameUni=1&gameNL=1&gameOFB=1&gameSeasons=1&gameBV=1&gameFFS=1&gameGLS=1&gameHMS=1

as for the tub itself, i like these defaults : http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=287726

but they are defaults, so they will replace maxis textures.

you could also try piggis sims for basic, solid recolors
