In past issues, we could click on a picture & be lead to the item we wanted to download.  Right now, I'm on page 10 & there've been several items that I have been directed to the main website.  Do you know there are over 329 fireplaces (under Build) & over 2,000 (under Furnishing) on TSR?  I tried searching for "classic fireplace" & came up with over 5,000 hits.  I finally found the chimena on Simplan-X.  I'm still searching for the others.

i'm sorry angayle, but occasionally our staff add the wrong links to layouts, you have to understand that we have several finds articles every issue, along with everything else in the mag and so making mistakes is inevitable. Mac spent a good 20 hours getting this issue up and running for our readers. We'll fix it as soon as possible :)

The issue looks fantastic, as always :hehe: However, there's a page missing of the "Change the price of an object using SimPE" tutorial, by Adalita. It only shows steps three to five, while the next page shows steps five to eight; the page after that is the "How to make a pier" tutorial. Just thought I'd give a head's up, thanks for all the lovely issues so far ♥

Glad you like the issue - I so love to hear you people's feedback.

Oh sorry about that - I will figure out how to fix that - I wanna do a bit of recolouring and then I will fix it. Thanks for reporting things that don't work - with 220 pages it can be hard to remember to test everything

My admiration: This issue is amazing (again)!
Everytime I thought "this is the most fantastic article ever", I turned the page and there was an article as amazing as the others!
I think I found most inspiration in this issue, which doesn't mean the other issues aren't that good (not at all!) but only makes clear how awesome this issue is!

Great articles and stunning pictures! You can all be very proud of yourself to be part of this quality magazine. Thank you so much!

I agree on what's said about the mall, I guess it's not available for download anywhere?  ;D

I wait with baited breath for every single issue of the magazine, and this one was just as fantastic as previous issues (http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/clapping.gif). I loved the 'Luxury' theme throughout and the interviews with creators, most especially Phoenix Phaeire - I doubt there are many people left who don't have something of hers in their game. The adverts were really special too. If I could physically buy this magazine and leaf through it, turning down the corner of pages on favourite articles and occasionally shouting at anyone who touched it without my express permission... I'd be a happy piggy (http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/drinks.gif)

Wow, this issue was massive! And I loved it, took me most of my afternoon yesterday and a bit of this morning to go through it all! The pictures from staff were amazing this issue, they all sort of 'glowed' they looked very rich. My favourite issue so far :)

On page 5 (http://www.mackat.dk/livingetc/issue9/05page.htm) you actually linked the ad for Fresh Prince's television to the Great Aussie Bathroom. I think you meant to put this link (http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=174042) instead.  ;D Love the issue!

Congrats on a new issue ... It was a great read with a lot of content.

There were a lot of good tutorials. I love that you did simple ones like the one about sharing lots.

Now that I've read through your back issues, I realised that you recycle your ads. I actually really like that. Generally, the ads in this mag are so well done and pleasureable in themselves. Personally, I clearly prefer those that refer to sim content rather than those for RL products. The easter spread at the back was lovely!

I loved the theme of patio decorating, not a lot of text and large, beautiful pics. Perfectly suited for web reading/browsing. The "Living at the Top" article was another favourite because it came out visually strong, yet not too busy or crammed.

________

If I may give some pieces of constructive criticisms:

While I loved the editorial I think you should use the page next to it differently than you've done until now. There's a reason that most mags start up with ads or content overviews rather than content. The article in itself is fine, but visually too crammed. imo that page would benefit from some more white space, as you would get with a table of content, contributor portraits, one not too heavy ad, or something along those lines.

Also, I'm impressed at the amount of content you manage to create for one issue. But since this is a web read rather than a print mag, less content and more pics would maybe work better (which would mean you could stretch all your wonderful articles out on more issues). It's a bit too much to read through in one go, some devoted readers will maybe return to finish it, but you cannot read some, put it down and read more later as with a print mag. All your content is great. But half or 2/3 would do, I think. More ads would be great. - Think of the amount of ads in mags you pay for ....

Also, I think it would've worked better to have the gold finds on two pages next to each other. The intro text could either have been incorporated in those two pages or could've come on a right hand page with the two find pages coming after the page turn. The most sought after finds - although also spanning three pages - somehow worked much better visually imo.

While I loved the spread with "ideas from the sims community" p. 31, it's a bit hard to follow. Fewer pics, more white space would make it easier to read.
____

Thank you for pleasurable reading/browsing :D

The photography in this issue was absolutely stunning! I haven't been playing Sims 2 this semester. Looking at this issue has made me really excited to get back into the game this Summer. I'm going to have to check out the WCIF section too, I can' t believe how much new content I saw in here. Great job everyone!

Issue 9 is brilliant  :OK: as always..I've got so much inspiration out of the magazine that I hardly can wait to go back in game again  ;D You are getting better and better with each new issue and it looks so real that I have to remember myself it's 'only' for a game.Thank you so much for your hard work  :)
